May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- The agreement was signed following the successful pilot project conducted in 10 Maccabi Health -Care clinics, where LEC provided proven results of 25% savings in electricity by controlling the voltage supplied to lighting.

LEC reduces the need for electricity by 20%-35%, saving Maccabi millions  of shekels every year while .The first phase of the deal for deployment in a few dozen facilities is equivalent to 660,000 shekels and will save 300,000 shekels a year providing an ROI within 25 months.  

Maccabi Health Care offers medical services to over 1,850,000 insured individuals and has hundreds of clinics and medical facilities across the country. With LEC, Maccabi will benefit from direct electric savings, lowering power consumption and organizational maintenance costs.  In addition to direct savings, the LEC systems installed in Maccabi help contribute to a green environment. The electricity saved in the Maccabi project is equivalent to a reduction of 550 tons of CO2 and elimination of burning 290 tons of coal annually.
