By: Kristine Roa “I recognize and fully acknowledge my complete addiction to being alive,” says Zaccone. “Along the way, I developed a burning desire to change many of the boundaries that I had to face—for tomorrow, for the next woman, for the next family needing to travel a similar road. They didn’t provide me with a handbook or instruction manual when I was diagnosed with cancer. And there was nothing out there that melded the personal experience with the medical realities. So, I wrote one.” A Random Interruption has sold 835 copies on its first five months and was featured in “The New York Review of Books” last January 14, 2010. She recently had book signing at Dream Interiors with (with world-renowned plastic reconstructive surgeon Dr. David Song, who wrote “Dr. Song’s Corner” in the book), J. Vincent Salon and Klein Tools last December. Suzanne Zaccone was also seen live on NBC Channel 5 with newscaster Nesita Kwan last April 17, 2010. Suzanne Zaccone will be giving away 100% of the book proceeds to the University of Chicago Hospitals Cancer Center. About the Author Suzanne M.
