Battle of the Bands Round 2... For the Roar on the River Champion!

May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Leading up to the event were a series of fundraisers to afford quality Roar entertainment. including a Battle of the Bands March 21.  Every ticket holder who attended was given the chance to vote for their favorite band and a panel of judges also collaborated for the final decision. The second round winners included Wyandotte Station, Wisteria and Hidden Agenda Band. The final round will be held June 11 at Rack and Roll at 8pm, 283-3100. 13634 Sibley Road, Riverview. Tickets are available $8 in advance or $10 at the door through Dot Com or Rack & Roll. The winner of this contest will play July 24 at Elizabeth Park with Category 5.
           
The Trenton Rotary Cub along with Battle of the Bands co-chairs Linda Francetich and Tim Montemayor have put this series of entertainment together to ultimately bring the best entertainment available to the 60th annual July PNC Roar on The River. The Trenton Rotary has provided support to community activities since 1937. That support involves providing scholarships, local art and theater funding, area needy assistance, international projects and much more.
