Adventures In Paradise Trolley up to Bat for Sanibel at Island's Night

June 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Each year, Sanibel Island invades Hammond Stadium and the cool summer rains begin speck the horizon.  Island's Night was born when Sanibel's most notable local, Sam Bailey of Bailey's General Store, got the idea to buy out the entire stadium and sprinkle the island with free tickets to the evenings baseball game.  Island’s Night has become a great event for all of those who live on the island, as well as those who visit Sanibel and Captiva Islands for many reasons.  Whether it’s the highly affordable beer or the irresistible hotdogs and popcorn, or the excitement of the baseball game, you will always find a great sense of pastime
Adventures In Paradise, located a Port Sanibel Marina is a family run business and has been doing boat cruises and other outdoor activities on Sanibel since 1986.  The family has grown with Sanibel, and each year they donate their two island trolleys to the Island's Night parade.  Shining in their teal glory, they make their way around the diamond and out towards the freshly cut grass in the outfield, launching candy and gifts into the insatiable crowd.
The trolley's have been running on the island's for 15 years, carrying hundreds of thousands of passengers and covering Sanibel's nature lined roads as if it were a shining steel pulse zooming back and forth between Port Sanibel Marina and the various island hotels for many years.
This year on June 1st, once again the trolley graces Hammond Stadium and once again the rains come and go as the spirits of the islands are alive at Island's Night.
