Children From Temple B’Nai Hayim Bring Happiness To The Residents of Los Angeles Jewish Home

June 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Sherman Oaks,  CA - On Monday, July 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. a group of kindergarten students from Temple B’Nai Hayim will be reading their favorite stories to the residents of the Los Angeles Jewish Home in Reseda.

From Temple B’Nai Hayim:  “In the belief that Judaism is a religion of perpetual growth and development, and holding that the fundamental teachings thereof proclaim truths and the manner in which people were intended to live on this Earth, we proclaim that each successive generation in Judaism is free to reformulate the truths and teachings of Israel in the light of the experience of each generation. In furtherance of these beliefs, we do hereby establish and create a congregation the purpose of which shall be to maintain a synagogue for religious  worship, a school for religious instruction, a children's center of Jewish learning, and educational, social, and recreational programs for adults which will further the traditions and teachings of Conservative Judaism.”
