Professional Race Car Driver Danny Bopp Finishes 10th at NASCAR Whelen All-American Series

June 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Professional race car driver Danny Bopp made his NASCAR debut Saturday, June 5th in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series in a Super Late model Stock Car at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California, driving for Eshleman Racing.  Team owner David Eshleman has a long history in the NASCAR community developing drivers such as David Gilliland.  Eshleman said, “Danny Bopp is a great driver that listens, and I can tell has a lot of potential.”

     After qualifying in 14th position, Danny advanced to the 12th position by lap twenty.  He avoided two wrecks and gained two more spots, finishing the race 10th in the forty-lap race.  After the completion, he was interviewed and given the Hard Charger Award by advancing the most positions of any drivers.  During the interview, Danny said, “I am grateful to have the opportunity to race again, and I’m looking forward to the next race and see our team in victory lane.”
