Follow on Google News | Dan Molloy Seeks New Legislative Focus for Florida LawmakersRepublican Florida State Legislative candidate, Dan Molloy, seeks a new legislative agenda for Florida to include private jobs creation, capping state spending, reducing taxes, and generating new methods for capital formation.
By: MPA Consulting, Inc. “There are many important issues related to our quality of life, but if we cannot provide economic opportunities for our residents and in particular our young people, our other efforts will not work,” said Molloy. As a past president of the Tri-County Tampa Bay Builders Association, he has seen first hand how a turn in the economy can impact the almost two million small businesses in Florida. Molloy said, “We need a cap on government spending that is tied to increases in our population and inflation, eliminate unfair tax burdens and regulations on businesses, and develop new tools to stimulate capital formations for the business community.” Molloy is a practicing real estate attorney, a 50-year resident of Tampa, and has served on numerous boards in the area. He is a graduate of Chamberlain High School, received his law degree at the University of Florida and lives in Hyde Park with his wife, Judy. They have four grown children.
