June 8, 2010 - PRLog -- On Sunday, June 6th, the Chicago Chapter of Sisters in the Brotherhood
held our first Performance Benefit featuring 2 local professional bands;
The Front Line Blues Rock Band, and St8 of Grace Progressive Rock Band.
The Bands’ performances were flawless, energetic, and rocked the house.

The admission was a suggested donation of $5 which included all you can
eat Reggie’s favorites; Buffalo Wings, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Chips and
Salsa, and open mic for the courageous. Thanks to Reggies for co-
sponsoring our Benefit with the affordable rental of their industrial 450
person venue, well endowed stage, VIP Balcony with lounge seating, use
of the awesome Sound System and Sound Engineer, complete with the
overhead projector.

There could not have been a better place than
Reggie’s Rock Club with it’s professional staff, to help host such a
smoothly run event.

As a unique feature of SIB events, we try to
accommodate our children and families, who were there representing!
We’re glad to announce that our event broke even, with everyone
encouraging SIB to do it again next year. We have three more bands
interested for the next round. Ahhh, we’ll consider it.

Thanks to Reggies Rock Club, our dynamic Bands, our Union Sisters and
Brothers, friends, family, and especially our guests for supporting our
efforts to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, Toys for Tots, Women’s
Labor Leadership Education, and Union Solidarity.

Thank you for promoting and supporting Chicago Regional Council of
Carpenters Sisters in the Brotherhood!
