The Yellow Mountain in China

June 14, 2010 - PRLog -- The Yellow Mountain (aka Huangshan Mountain) is located in Huangshan City, south of Anhui province, China. The mountain range measures 40 kilometers long from north to south, and 30 kilometers wide from west to east. It occupies a total area of 1,200 square kilometers with a core area of 160.6 square kilometers. The mountain is so beautiful that the great ancient Chinese traveler Xuxiake, once said “When I have visited the Yellow Mountain, I don’t even wish to visit others.”  Today, the mountain is known as one of the most photographed attractions in China.  

The Yellow Mountain not only boasts of its various seas: sea of unique peaks, sea of clouds, sea of pines, sea of flowers, sea of rocks and sea of snow (in Winter)...but the magnificent sunrise and sunset.
