Richard J. Duggan Joins Granite Springs Asset Management LLC as Principal & Managing Director

June 13, 2010 - PRLog -- New York, NY - Granite Springs Asset Management LLC is pleased to announce that Richard J. Duggan has joined the firm as a Principal and Managing Director of Fixed Income Portfolio Management effective June 8, 2010.

“Rich has more than 25 years of experience in fixed-income markets – much of it at prestigious firms like Goldman Sachs & Co. and Kidder Peabody & Co.  Add to that five years of experience managing a $3 billion bond portfolio for Selective Insurance Company of America and it becomes obvious that Rich is a potent addition to our group,” says Patrick Smith, CEO of Granite Springs Asset Management LLC.  “Rich’s presence allows us to increase our capacity and enhances our ability to deliver the superior service and results our fixed income clients expect.”

Prior to joining Granite Springs Asset Management LLC, Mr. Duggan was a Vice President and Fixed-Income Portfolio Manager with Selective Insurance Company of America, where he managed a $3 billion bond portfolio for five years.  Mr. Duggan was with Goldman Sachs & Co. for ten years of his career, and he also held positions with Ramirez & Co., Frank Russell & Co., Kidder Peabody & Co., and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.  Mr. Duggan holds a M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College.
