June 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Nestled on a 7.5-acre swath of Costa Rica wonderland this magnificent home looks over broccoli toped jungle filled with over 400 species of birds and is home to monkeys, sloths, jaguars, ocelots, ant eaters and many other animals only found in the unspoiled jungle.  

Oro Verde Estates sits alone in the gorgeous and under developed area of San Josecito, Bahia Ballena. The San Josecito valley has not seen the rapid growth that other areas along the south pacific coast have. Much of it was inaccessible 10 years ago and most of the land is owned by 3 local families that have been here for generations. They proudly work the land and only sell when money is needed, and have never sold to slash and burn developers. This valley is the only one in the area that has successfully kept large developers out. This continues to be a goal of our community. Our area enjoys a special feel that is not easily reproduced, and is never under appreciated.

The property has 3 main structures. The main house is spacious, has 2 bedroom 2 bath and a kitchen any chef will appreciate along with room to entertain both indoors and out. The Pool house is a one bedroom one bath that sleeps 4. The bunk house is a 2 story building with a large 2 car garage beneath and an open loft style room with bunk beds above that can sleep 6. There is also a very comfortable caretakers house located at the entrance to the property that is perfect for a family.

The bird observation deck above the main house has been used by the Costa Rican authority on birding Noel Urena. He brings groups here and pitches it as one of the "best birding spots in Costa Rica" His groups have documented over 470 species of birds around the property. The proximity of the untouched primary jungle and the cloud forest above it bring a steady flow of winged and 4 legged neighbors coming by to say hola.

The improvement of the Oro Verde road has cut the driving time by more than half to the conveniences in Uvita which is now only 10 minutes away instead of the 35 it was just 6 months ago.
