Enjoy Bollywood dances at Stepz Summer Funk Show

June 16, 2010 - PRLog -- CUPERTINO, CA: Enjoy beautiful, fascinating and popular Bollywood dancing this weekend! STEPZ Dance Company proudly presents its exciting Summer Funk Show, showcasing the performance of its highly trained students. All student age groups will perform, including children as young as three years old. The event takes place on Saturday, June 19, 2010, 5 - 8 pm at Woodside High School Performing Arts Center, 199 Churchill Ave in Redwood City.

“We are thrilled and delighted to be presenting our popular show once again,” said Deepika Jain, CEO and Artistic Director at STEPZ. “Our students are very excited to demonstrate what they’ve mastered – and they’re really good!” A dancer and choreographer throughout her life, Deepika recently performed on the television special Bollywood in America. STEPZ team was also auditioned by America’s Got Talent 2010, and has been featured in the Contra Costa Times and the Oakland Tribune.

STEPZ is one of the only Bollywood dance studios in the Bay Area that gives its students an opportunity to perform after six months of training. As Bollywood dancing is gaining momentum as the popular new dance trend, STEPZ offers a variety of classes at different skill levels for both children and adults. Classes for the July-August session are now available in several Bay Area locations including Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Jose, Fremont, Newark, Mountain View, Redwood City, Dublin, and San Ramon.
