By: Leonard Martin The UW Club will be hosting a Mudansha Clinic June 26th at the Education building Gym/Seiyo Kai dojo in Laramie. All current members of Seiyo Shorin Ryu are welcome to attend. All you need is your Gi and membership card to participate. We expect to have members attending our clinic from Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Hanshi Finley 7th Dan will be instructing and focusing on Taikyoku Kata, it's Bunkai and waza and teaching Kiog Kata, waza and Bunkai. If time permits we’ll explore the use of cane and hanbo in self defense applications as well. Our next clinic is scheduled for July 31st and will focus on Naihanchi Kata, waza and bunkai. The dojo is open at 9:00 a.m. for early arrivals and training starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. Bring your own sack lunch, we'll break around noon and resume at 12:30, training wraps up at 3:00 p.m. On behalf of the UW Seiyo Kai Dojo, we would love to have anyone interested in Traditional Okinawan Karate come and join us, you don’t have to be a University of Wyoming student. We train Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday all summer from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and have weekend workouts as well.
