Nancy Hudson Joins the Team at Right at Home, Central Orange County

June 25, 2010 - PRLog -- With a wealth of experience from her background in senior living services, Nancy Hudson brings her strengths to Right at Home, Central Orange County. Hudson is happy to be back in the senior care services industry, after leaving the Mariott Corporation’s Senior Living Services Division in 2002.
Hudson was pleased to find the position with Karen Fazio, owner of Right at Home, Central Orange County, because Fazio shares the same philosophies she believes in, taught during her time at Marriott. Not only did Marriott insist on dealing with every customer with dignity and respect, they offered Hudson a great deal of opportunities and training, to which she attributes her success.
During her time at Mariott, Hudson earned her RCFE (Residential Community for the Elderly) state license and, as a Memory Impairment Specialist, she gained a great deal of training in dealing with Alzheimers and the patients who live with the disease. During her time running the Sales and Marketing department for Villa Valencia in Laguna Hills, California, Hudson and her staff of five received the Silver Circle, Diamond Level Award nine times for surpassing goals, and won the Pinnacle Award for being the number one community in Marriott.
As a Sales Specialist for Marriott, Hudson visited many of the communities across the U.S., analyzed their business practices and sales goals and helped them improve. Hudson’s understanding of the infrastructure of a large senior-living community will be a boon for Karen Fazio and her business that focuses on patients in the local area.
Hudson has touched many lives during her years in the caregiving industry, and looks forward to continuing this part of her career after taking time off to be a fitness instructor and augment her knowledge of computers and business applications. “I love the feeling of being able to add to the world,” explains Hudson. “Even in a small capacity, it’s important to be able to do that.”
Now Hudson looks forward to using her experience and enthusiasm to help Karen Fazio, and to help Right at Home, Central Orange County grow. Over the last month, Hudson has concentrated on calling on the local hospices with information about Right at Home, following up on recent contacts, and generally getting to know the business.
“I love working with Karen, as she shares the principles of treating care patients with dignity and respect,” remarks Hudson. “It’s a pleasure to work for someone whom I truly respect.”
In addition to her passion for caregiving, Hudson is active in her church, a fitness enthusiast, a dedicated volunteer worker and loves spending time with her grandchildren.
