Next stage for the Core StrategyA Planning Inspector has now been appointed to undertake an independent examination of the New Forest National Park Authority’s Core Strategy, following its submission to the Secretary of State in May.
The Pre-Hearing meeting is to help the Inspector and those who made representations on the Core Strategy prepare for the Examination starting on the 7 September. Those who attend will learn more about the procedural and administrative matters involved. Steve Avery, Director of Strategy and Planning, said: ‘After the Pre-Hearing meeting the Inspector will publish the final agenda and invite participants for the Examination Hearing sessions in September.’ The Pre-Hearing meeting and the Examination Hearing Sessions are open to the general public; however only those people who made representations on the Strategy are invited by the independent Planning Inspector to contribute to the discussions.
