Green Chips Launches New Website

July 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Green Chips, a unique public/private non-profit organization that encourages investment into energy efficiency is making it easier to learn how to make Southern Nevada a “greener” place to live with recent changes to the www.greenchips.org  website.
Residents, businesses and tourists alike will find an easier to navigate site and more importantly, new buttons and links to pages of up-to-date information about renewable energy, conservation and energy efficiency projects that have been completed or are  being planned throughout Southern Nevada.

The new site features a “become a member” button for individuals or businesses interested in funding sustainability projects throughout the valley through membership donations.  A blog has been incorporated and will feature news and information about current projects, resources and community efforts in the area of environmental sustainability.

Founding businesses and community partners include Harrah's Entertainment and MGM Resorts International, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the Southern Nevada Water Authority, Nevada State Bank, the law firm McDonald Carano Wilson LLP, and the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas. Clark County, Vegas PBS and NV Energy also are participating.
