Introduction of Jidong Oilfield

July 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Jidong Oilfield is one part of CNPC in Hebei, after the exploration and development of Bohai Bay, Jidong Oilfield is in charge of these area. To drill, to produce oil.On the drilling work, solids control equipment is needed.
The oilfield is in the Nanpu block of the CNPC's Jidong Oilfield in Caofeidian in Tangshan city in northern China's Hebei province. The Nanpu block, partly offshore, covers an area of 1,300-1,500 square kilometers and is expected to produce light crude.

CNPC has decided to boost oil production in Jidong to 2.2 million tons in a few years ago. And afterward, oil production in Jidong increased by 1 million tons each year to reach 10 million tons in 2012. And it would come true.

Its operation covers a total area of about 6300 KM2 from the southern foot of Yanshan mountain in north to the 5m fathom line in Bohai in south and from Jianhe river in west to Qinhuangdao district in east, across two cities (Tangshan and Qinhuangdao) and seven counties (Tanghai, Fengnan, Luannan, Laoting, Changli, Funing and Luanxian). It is a vigorous and developing oilfield with 7×108 t oil and gas resources. Its exploration and development area includes 3,600 km2 of land and 2,700 km2 intertidal zone and extremely shallow sea.
