Follow on Google News | J. Z. Yancey Publishes Triangle: Side One-TyA triangle is the strongest geometric shape. Can the triangular relationship of three people also be strong? Two men (one slightly psychic) and one stong willed woman meld their lives and loves into the nucleus of their extended family.
By: J. Z. Yancey Triangle: Side One-Ty is the first novel in a projected series of three. It introduces the characters of Ty and Shiloh Raines and Rafe Llewellyn. They have an unorthodox relationship that flies in the face of tradition and flaunts the rules of society. This has ultimately led to the events that open the novel--the rape of Shiloh and Rafe. While this event carries the action the heart of the story is in the characters and how their lives came to be intertwined. Side One-Ty focuses on Ty and his life. While it is impossible to separate him from the other two, it is his memories that are shown in flashbacks and his strength that carries them through the trauma and the trial. Along the way other characters surface including their children and their friends most notably psychiatrist Fred Silverman and Sheriff Paul Chavez. End
