After unveiling two amazing cars at SEMA 2009, and enduring 8 months of wondering who'll win them...it's time to hand them over to a new owner.
Robert R. Totten saw an ad for the Mustang Dream Giveaway in a magazine in his dentist's office. He bought 100 tickets for $100 to help the troops, never expecting to win. Coincidentally, Mr. Totten is also a highly decorated disabled Vietnam veteran with 17 years of military service under his belt. A living example of the word Hero, Mr. Totten has earned 26 commendations, including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and US Navy/Marine Distinguished Service Medal. "Saying we're excited is such an understatement" Once HHN found the remarkable '67 Shelby, the team at Ford quickly stepped up to the plate and created the theme for the one-of-a-kind 2010 Patriot edition. Combined, this dynamic duo is sure to take its place in automotive history. Who: Healing Heroes Network, Ford and MDG winner Robert R. About Healing Heroes Network - Since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 and the subsequent war on terror, thousands of members of our armed forces have been injured in the line of duty defending our freedom and protecting the United States of America. Often these men and women are unable to receive the medical treatments that would facilitate their return to a productive civilian life. While the Department of Veterans Affairs provides treatment to these troops, the scope of covered services is limited and sometimes unavailable. That's where the Healing Heroes Network steps in. HHN provides desperately needed therapies and services not currently provided or covered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. www.WinTheMustangs.com www.HealingHeroes.org # # # Healing Heroes Network is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. HHN provides quality medical care to the men and women of the armed forces injured in the line of duty on or after 9/11/01. End
