The Color, Cut And Create Website Has Launched

Resources for the development of creativity are few and far between and are most often poorly organized and low quality. Color, Cut and Create is offering something different! Throughout it’s pages, visitors can print thousands of pages to color, cut and create absolutely free.

Web developer Joe Dolan, founder and creator of the archive, was a single parent that toughed out the search for creative printables for his own children on the web. “It was nerve-racking.” He said, “Click after click, opening new windows and taking me to websites I didn’t want to be on. I simply wanted one place that I could find high quality printing that my boys could enjoy.”

In January of 2010, Joe set out to collect the best available images from the public domain and relocate them to a single organized location on the web; building one site that housed the best the web had to offer. With more than 750 coloring books, games and activities to print, the website launched this past weekend ahead of schedule. What Joe had originally planned for a 2011 release made the grade in August of this year.

“Ironically, it was my two boys who fired me up to get it ready.” Joe explained, “They wanted stuff to color and I wasn’t working hard enough for their summer vacation schedule. I had to kick it up a notch.”

The website offers images organized into books that are easy to print from a PDF format. If you haven’t got an updated version of Adobe Reader, it’s free! There’s a link on the front page of the website that will allow you to update. Books are assembled and linked in categories such as Color and Draw, Cut and Paste, Games to Print and even Stories to Read. Creative artists Mike McManus and Robert Hayes are featured on the website with their creations too, offering their work to kids for even more creative fun.

The website is found at www.colorcutandcreate.com and it continues to grow and develop as new resources become available. Using the website is absolutely free and donations to continue the development of the website can be made by way of Pay-Pal, as directed on the web site.
