Café Desmo’s Ride the Crest 2010

Aug. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- (Glendale, CA) - Cafe Desmo, the largest gathering of Italian Motorcycles, west of the Rocky Mountains will be happening August 22nd at Pro Italia, in Glendale, CA. This will be its fifth year and the crowds have grown from a few hundred in 2005, to nearly two-thousand as of last year. The 2010 event sees the addition of a ride up the Angels Crest Highway from the sight of the morning street festival, bike show and vender village, to the famous Newcomb's Ranch Roadhouse, for a picnic and concert featuring legendary motorcycle designer, Eric Buell, The Sex Pistol's Steve Jones, Poison's Rikki Rocket and several surprise guests.

The Festival and Bike Show are Free, the ride is just $40.00 and includes the concert, picnic, T-Shirt, food & drink, with all profits going to the Rebuilding The Angels Crest effort.

Cafe Desmo events kick off with a free cocktail party at Pro Italia,Friday night, August 20th at 7PM with a live music performance at LaBie's Lounge in Glendale, Saturday, August 21st, 8:00PM, festivities include: The Lords of Altamont, who will be returning from a twenty-city European Tour a couple of days before. Sunday's event is 8:00AM - Noon @ Pro Italia, and will feature a four class bike show, DJ Aristocat spinning, a motorcycle vender village, top LA food trucks and demonstrations.

The Motorcycle Ride departs Pro Italia @ 12:30PM, for an expected Newcomb's arrival at 1:30PM, Concert & Picnic begin @ 2:00PM. Note: All bikes are welcome and ride will be caped at 250 bikes.
