There is a saying, "The women step onto the Rainbow Bridge first, and are touched by the Spirit They inturn touch the children, and the children touch the men... until all the humans actualize as humane." GRANDMOTHER'S SUMMIT CELEBRATING TURTLE ISLAND The women step onto the Rainbow Bridge first A women's gathering to connect to bineh tinah (Sacred Ancestral Ground) Who: All women of all beliefs, all backgrounds and cultures What: A call to women to come, gather, and celebrate a NEW TIME FOR WOMEN. Join us for individual time, group, talking circle. Quiet walks in the mountains and forests, blessing and being blessed by Esonknhsendehi... Changing Mother earth... Turtle Island, diverse workshops, storytelling, ritual, laughter, Native American cuisine for four intensive days. There will also be a circle forum to close. This is a drug and alcohol free event. When: October 4-7, 2010, Monday noon, to Thursday 3 pm (3 nights and 4 days) Cost: 4 days/3 nights camping, all meals and all events: $450.
