The Burger King “Benefit Night for Sherwood Forest Camp” will be held at the Burger King Hampton Avenue location and will be a chance for kids and their families, customers, supporters, employees and civic leaders to mix and mingle for a greater cause. By simply dropping their receipt in one of the donation boxes at the ordering counter a portion of each receipt will be donated to SFC. Always looking for a unique way to support their educational initiative, LRG believes in education and the development of youth. “The economy has effected our bottom-line just as much as the next business. However, we remain proactive in our efforts to invest into the education and development of the youth in our area. In these times you just have to be more creative and we‘re glad to be able to join Mary Rogers and the entire team at Sherwood Forest Camp. We support their vision and just want to do our part,” says Kelly Hasty, Liberty Restaurant Group. In addition, they also have a library and summer reading program so the campers don't lose their reading skills over the summer. When asked why she stayed with the camp for 43 years during her interview with Deb Peterson of the Post-Dispatch, Rogers replied, “Because I love it and I believe in what we do.
