Piper Perabo Makes a Splash In Episode 6 Houses of Holy on USA's Covert Affairs

Aug. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Last night America saw the sixth installment in USA Network's newest series this summer, Covert Affairs. Houses of Holy was the title of this episode and it was a show stopper to date. Piper Perabo plays new CIA recruit Annie Walker, and in this episode it was her job to get information about a Senator suspected of treason. Piper's character, Annie Walker is constantly dealing with the struggle between doing something for the greater and compromising your integrity. So far this season, we see that Annie will do all she can to always do the right thing while getting the job done. The deeper she gets into the CIA, the harder it is to "do the right thing" and keep her job. Last night's episode was another demonstration of the moral dilemmas that face everyone in this business who try to keep the country safe.

Perabo has recieved great reviews for her role as Annie Walker. Her good looks and snappy acting skills make Perabo a good fit for her role as Annie Walker. Perabo said in an interview with the Dallas Morning News, "I was a tomboy," the Dallas-born actress says. "I was jumping off the roof, stuff like that." Her tomboy-ish style of childhood play never really left her. So when she was introduced to this role on Covert Affairs, she was excited when she saw all of the stunts and action-packed scenes she could perform. Sadly, USA has her under contract when doing bigger stunts herself. In the pilot episode, her character Walker jumps out of an airplane, Perabo said: "I would have jumped out," she says, "but USA would never have let me do it."

Whether doing her own stunts, or having a stunt double, Perabo sense of adventure and energy keep the show moving along and support Walker as a believe able character. There are only five episodes left before the season finale on September 14, 2010. Next week we will see Perabo save the world again in episode 7 "Communication Breakdown".
