Covert Affairs, Episode 4, - “Oddly Mesmerizing” Auggie

Aug. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- The casting for Covert Affairs character, Auggie Anderson, is spot on. Christopher Gorham will be best known for his role as Auggie. He plays a blind in-house operative that is really good at what he does, being a point man for different operations. He has just the right amount of respect, humor and cynicism, without going over the line, about working for the CIA. In other words, He's GOOOOD!


One of the best lines that best describes him came from this weeks' episode, the “Houses of the Holy” Annie tells Auggie that she finds him “oddly mesmerizing”


This week, Auggie has been temporarily reassigned to a different department with in the CIA to be the point man on the Goliath Operation. His old unit and buddies are running this op. He is caught between wanting to be there with them, reminiscing the “good old days” and being the one who is in charge of the op. It is his intimate knowledge of his buddies that saves them.


John Gorham is a good actor. It is fitting to see him cast in this part.
