Toronto Cab or Airport Limo Service, Whats the difference

Aug. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Getting a Toronto yellow Cab or any Airport Limo or Airport Taxi Service in Toronto has been become a lot of confusion thanks to Toronto Licensing Authority. So, What were the differences before. Well, A regular Toronto Taxi mostly has a meter charges. They usually charge customer by the meter. They are not a black car service or was not a Town Car Service & usually operates mostly for small fares but also works for out of Town. The big plus is that one can get a regular Toronto, GTA Taxi from any nook and corner. In rush hours regular cabs, Yellow Cabs can make more money in the city rather than getting out of Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton or making that trip to Pearson international Airport.

As far as an Airport Taxi Service or a TOWN CAR service which operates exclusively to/from Pearson Airport to the above Greater Toronto Area cities as Mississauga, Markham, Burlington, Hamilton, Orangeville, Milton, Oakville, Newmarket, Barrie and all on a FLAT rate sheet designated by GTAA (Greater Toronto Airport Authority)

Lincoln TOWN CAR service has been considered a North American Luxury Travel. All North American Airports usually have Flat rate and exclusive fleet of  luxury Town Cars for years but recently Toronto Licensing started issuing Licenses to regular Cabs to induct Town Cars in their Toronto Taxi fleet. The only confusion is that what is the difference is between Airport Limos, Livery Service and regular Cabs making the business more difficult for Limousine companies.

Now Possibly they will issue licenses to any brand of cars as the city is getting desperate to make money and destroy the Luxury Transportation Business and Image of Lincoln Town Car.  Town Car limousine companies for so many years due to the nature of the Toronto Airport Taxi & Limo business used exclusively Lincoln Town in their Fleet & service.  So, A Taxi or a Airport Limousine service. We have been debating this and so far have been able to come up with confused differences. Due to rapid changes in the Toronto Transportation industry & Post recession Era.  Even Taxi companies have been allowed to add luxury Town Car Sedans in there fleet.  A Lincoln Sedan or a Town Car which was considered a Luxury Airport Limo option are being presently licensed by the city of Toronto for regular Toronto taxi businesses. So what is the difference between a regular Cab or A Limo.  Well, better go and ask City of Toronto Licensing as I guess there are no regulations or differences between Luxury travel or a regular Cab. In future they will start issuing licenses to all expensive luxury brands like mercedez or BMW's
