Downtown Brown signs with DC-Jam Records

Aug. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Detroit based funk-n-punk trio Downtown Brown has signed with DC-Jam Records to deliver the band's seventh release titled "Grabbleton's Beach".

The album is being recorded at The Church in Plymouth, Michigan and is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2010.

Founded in 2001, Downtown Brown has shared the stage with such bands as Fishbone, Slightly Stoopid, Me First & the Gimme Gimmies, The Aquabats and Pepper, among others and have been dubbed one of the top up and coming artists of the Midwest by several well known publications.

Stated founding member and guitarist Neil P., "We're super stoked about this signing and feel that our new album will be our best work yet.  To be a part of a label that has so many big name artists that we grew up listening to is really quite humbling and exciting for us."
