Two students from Santa Monica High School (SAMOHI) venture off into becoming entrepreneurs of the clothing industry.

Santa Monica, CA, September 2, 2010 —

In the winter of 2009, friends Anthony Lopez and Alfred Calima realized they shared more than just a friendship – they shared a style.

Anthony approached Alfred because he had an idea to create a t-shirt company and Lopez pitched him a design – thus, High Rollerz Clothing was born.

Anthony said that he got the idea after his father, Mark Lopez, CEO of High Rollerz Limousines, Inc. created the limo company in 2006.

"One day I thought of the idea that having a t-shirt company would be beneficial to my father's company, so I brought the idea to him (Mark Lopez) and he welcomed it. So from their on, it really started to grow. We purchased the domain and everything else that came along with it.", said Lopez.  

Since then, the two have set out to leave their marks on the clothing industry, one design at a time. After creating the first few t-shirt designs on Adobe Photoshop, Anthony and Alfred are now about to spend $500 of their own money to print 50 t-shirts. Also now looking to find ways to advertise their company.

The two break up the workload: Alfred handles all the designs and creative aspects of the company. Anthony handles production, contribute design ideas, and sales.

Since now their in the beginning of their venture, their market is limited – they have plans to sell their t-shirts on the company's website, www.highrollerzclothing.com and to their classmates in school.

Anthony and Alfred both say that in the future they can very much see "High Rollerz Clothing" become a very large t-shirt company and also try and advertise Anthony's fathers limousine company also.

Company History:

In 2006, an idea was born from Anthony's fathers limo company. In December of 2009, Anthony Lopez brought up the idea of a t-shirt company to his friend Alfred Calima and both agreed to start the company. In September of 2010, both Anthony and Alfred have begin to start the engine and are now about to start selling products to the world.
