Premier Flooring Solutions Debuts Cikel Hardwood Flooring

Cikel offers edges with a four-sided micro-bevel, unlike the square edge commonly found in many existing products. This beveling, combined with almost 20 Brazilian exotic species and a variety of narrower widths, means that Cikel opens up a new spectrum of hardwood flooring choices to the homeowner and installer.

Out of the 1.2 million acres of forest that Cikel owns in northern Brazil, over 800,000 acres of them are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, and the remaining 400,000 acres are currently in the final stages of FSC approval. Cikel makes all of their own flooring from start to finish, which many other manufacturers don’t do, reducing Cikel’s carbon footprint even further. In addition to harvesting their own trees to cutting lumber through to the veneers, Cikel creates its plywood from their own trees, resulting in a product with higher density levels.
