PRLog -- Cop and comic Cliff Yates is returning to his home town of Caledonia New York, to do two comedy shows. Friday night's show is benefitting the American Federation of Police and concerned citizens. This organization provided scholarships to the sons of fallen Livingston County Sheriff"s Deputy Jim Chiverton who was tragically killed in a traffic accident 23 years ago. Jim would ride along with cliff when he worked as a deputy with Livingston County 30 years ago, Jim always expressed his heart felt goal of becoming a Livingston County Sheriff's Deputy. Saturday Night's show is benefitting the Totsie Cook/Dan Coyle Scholarship, and also in honor of Jerry Forsyth, all three were classmates of Cliff, the Class of 1975 from Caledonia Mumford Central School. This is the second show benefitting this charity, last years show at the Caledonia Country Club was a a sell out, and people were turned away at the door. Cliff did not want to see this happen again, so he moved the shows to Jones Hall. Jones Hall will open it's doors at 6pm for each show for food and drinks. Cliff's good friend and mentor, Mike Marino is taking time out of his busy national tour, to help Cliff with these shows. Mike recently headlined at the Tropicana in Las Vegas, to rave reviews. This is a rare opportunity to see a major comedy headliner, in Caledonia New York, and also give to two amazing causes. Everyone is encouraged to come to one of the shows, or both, and support these causes, and split your gut with laughter. Tickets are available by calling Cliff Yates Sr at 585-538-2776, contacting Gail Milner at Jones Hall, 366 Leicester street, Caledonia, or buying online at www.cliffyates.com, your tickets will be waiting for you at the door.
