T&S Heating Winners at Corgi Awards 2010

Sept. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Despite the gloomy economic forecast local Central Heating and Plumbing Company T&S Heating Ltd. remain optimistic. Over the last 18 months the company has managed to significantly increase turnover, creating a number of new job opportunities in the process.
Business Development Manager Lee Theakstone believes this trend will continue well in to next year as the company seeks to expand their business interests throughout the UK.

Last night T&S Heating became the latest recipient of the highly coveted and prestigious Corgi Installer of the year award.
At the Ricoh Arena Coventry in front of 1000 guests, representing the best of Britain’s Heating Manufacturers and installers; the Nottinghamshire based firm beat off fierce competition to receive the accolade of Corgi Installer of the year for Central England 2010/2011.
The Installer awards are judged by an independent panel of industry experts; the winner is arbitrarily chosen by the judges and the award is made to the company or organisation deemed to have made an exceptional contribution to the heating and plumbing industry. The CORGI Awards seek to recognise and reward achievements in customer service, safety, environmental responsibility and training.
On receiving the award, delighted Managing Director Malcolm Theakstone said; “We view the award as recognition of the significant advancements we have made and the changes we have implemented to be recognised as one of the countries major installers. We are proud of our achievements and commitment to ensuring our service delivery is totally customer focused

The long established business is well known in the community for its commitment and support of local training initiatives, work experience placements, contributions to charitable events and the sustainability of the local community through the creation of new jobs. Currently T&S Heating is undertaking a project at Lambley Primary School to provide the children with a sensory garden. Other community projects have included tree planting in conjunction with Nottingham in bloom campaign to reduce carbon emissions and gardening projects for the elderly.
