Emergys Welcomes Another Member to Their Global Trade Services Practice

Sept. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Emergys, leading Business Transformation Service provider, is proud to welcome another member to their Global Trade Services Practice.  Jeff Collins, Emergys’ new Principal Consultant, will focus on Global Trade Management specifically SAP’s Global Trade product and integration services.  

Prior to coming to Emergys, Jeff was a Principal Consultant / Practice Lead at SAP America for over 8 years, focused on building a practice around Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Global Trade Services Product portfolio. Jeff also spent 16 years with Intel Corporation supporting R&D for memory products/microprocessors and as a senior SAP design analyst in support of process solutions and designs for raw material manufacturing and finished goods distribution.

As a key consulting expert, Jeff has extensive design and implementation experience with Global Trade Services across multiple industries and SAP modules such as - Materials Management, Warehouse management, plus Sales and Distribution.  His GTS expertise also includes knowledge of compliance (SPL, Embargo and Licensing), extensive experience with configuration in support of EAR, ITAR, OGA, NAFTA and other global regulatory requirements; customs management - US import / export, EU, APAC, CA, LATAM, and global import/export implementation experience including EDI and hard copy output for trade related documents.   Jeff also has experience with Risk management - free trade agreements and Letter of Credit processing.
