Suddenly,
to wish to live for thousand years
and travel to stars...
To feel the hand of God,
on your cheek.
To feel yourself,
as the rays of sun
to reach many a heart.
To enjoy the music on the street.
Flowers, which greet arrivals
of long waiting.
Long hugs and kisses
of undesired departures.
Trains, busses, planes, boats!
Hours long talks,
in the parks of the spring.
Autumn-long letters,
like rain drops on one's face.
Searching looks in each other's eyes,
for the future, for the past.
Hands finding one another,
amongst world's sufferings...
To be able to promise.
To expect and find.
To trust, to love.
To forget the death for a short time.
To wonder about life,
in the night's darkness.
To water the morning flowers
in the company of silence.
Children's laughter,
smile and play.
Aging like a dry wine
with a certain bitterness.
Time, lust, money,
as in a chess game,
endless under the stars.
A laughter which spreads to all of one's cells.
To be able to sleep safely.
To live and die together.
Love.

THE  SPECTATOR


I want to touch the candies,
in the shop window.
But, there is glass.

I want to touch your face.
But you are not here.

I want to hear a thunder in the sky,
but there are no clouds.

I want to hear music
in the streets.
There are no streets.

I want to live in the present.
There is no present !
It has been eaten up
by the past and the future !

I want to dream.,
but I am not asleep.

I want to reach
the bottoms of the oceans.
They are too deep.

I want to climb up the mountains.
They are too steep.

I want to stop wanting.
There is no stop.

I want to shake the world,
with music and dance and laughter.
Before a meteor or comet does it
with a clatter.

I want to shake the world
to awaken it from its ignorance,
before wars, crime, injustice
gutter the world,
for its floods and tears.

I want to shake the world,
to make the planets wonder:
"Hey !  What's happenning to Earth ?"
and to make all the stars ponder.

I want to shake the world
till no one is hungry, ill, depressed
and no one is pressed
to steal and lie.
Till no one is afraid to live
or to be born,
or to die.
