Marlboro Nissan Dealership Announces First Nissan LEAF Commercial

Sept. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- The anticipation for the release of the Nissan LEAF increases as the first commercial for the car has been release.  Marlboro Nissan announces the first commercial of Nissan LEAF aired during the opening night of the National Football League. A one minute video featuring a polar bear, a Nissan LEAF and an owner of a Nissan LEAF all come together to show just how environmentally friendly they all are.

The Nissan LEAF is a forward thinking environmentally friendly car that brings together innovative technology and futuristic design. As Nissan LEAF driver is doing his part to help the environment, Nissan wanted to get that message across in their first commercial.

The Nissan LEAF polar bear begins in the icy Arctic, amidst the melting glaciers, looking as bummed as a child heading back to school. Soon he swims to shore to start his journey through forests, highways, train tracks, and bridges, crossing city and suburban landscapes, looking for someone that is trying to help his situation.

After days of searching, he shows up in a driveway, where the 2011 Nissan LEAF is parked and a man is heading to work. The man is obviously shocked to see a polar bear in his driveway and gets an even bigger shock when the polar bear stands up to hug and thank him. The man accepts, knowing that he is doing his part.

The commercial shows several elements that appeal to the environmentalist and designer in each person, the same qualities that are found in the new 2011 Nissan LEAF.
