Civil Litigator Curtis Carll Associates with Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan LLP

Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, Sept. 28 --  Curtis Carll, an experienced civil litigator, has returned to San Diego where today he joins boutique trial law firm Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan LLP.

Mr. Carll has successfully litigated a wide range of complex and high-stakes cases in federal and state courts, including in the areas of securities fraud, toxic tort, breach of contract, insurance coverage, and land use.  At Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan LLP, he expects to continue his focus on cases headed for trial.  Regarding his decision to join Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan LLP, Mr. Carll explains, “I am looking forward to practicing in a trial-oriented litigation boutique.  I like the firm’s approach to litigation and client service – no nonsense, direct, streamlined, and honest, with the goal of efficient resolution and a constant eye on trial preparedness.”

Before leaving California to move to Illinois, where he is also admitted to practice, Mr. Carll spent three years as a litigation associate at the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins LLP under the mentorship of Ken Fitzgerald, who is now a partner at Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan LLP.  While there, Mr. Carll played an integral role on the City of San Diego’s outside legal team responsible for making the Sunroad Towers safe for air traffic.  

Mr. Carll is a member of the bar associations of Illinois and Chicago and served as an editor of the William & Mary Law Review while in law school at William & Mary School of Law.  He has also interned for the Honorable F. Bradford Stillman, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia.
