Athletes from CrossFit Norwest decend onto Wollongong

Sept. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The sport of fitness is here. An new sporting crazy has begun and CrossFit Norwest is at the centre of the evolution. The name is CrossFit and the sport..... well it is the sport of fitness. CrossFit tests individuals across a broad range of fitness modalities and encompasses a wide variation of skills. CrossFit Norwest based at Castle Hill is forging elite athletes.

On the 17th of October 2010 many athletes will dawn on the steps of CrossFit Wollongong. CrossFit wollongong is celebrating it's first birthday with a CrossFit Games style day. The events will be short but intense, the atmosphere will be electric and fun is 100% gaurenteed. On those steps of CrossFit Wollongong will be the feet of some 20-22 CrossFit Norwest athletes (warriors). Some will be competing for their first time, some are veterns in this new sport of fitness. Although all have different ability levels they all share a common goal........... person achievement.

CrossFit Norwest has athletes come from many parts of Sydney. Penrith and St Marys, Parramatta and Blacktown, some even travel from Richmond, Hornsby and the Inner West. some athletes are competing for the first time, others are using this as a warm up for other CrossFit Games competitions such as CrossFit Newcastles "Made of Steel" competition. What eve the reason for competing, one thing is assured....... a great day with lots of stories and comraderie.
