Kids Wish Network Names Karen Pelle of Megatrux Inc. President of Board of Directors

In 2002, Karen Pelle began working her “Guardian Angel magic” at Kids Wish Network by having Megatrux Inc. provide transportation for the donated toys and gifts that the charity receives from manufacturers and distributors nationwide for their unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program. Even with the most difficult of shipping situations, such as making sure the merchandise gets to hard-to-reach destinations such as Alaska and Hawaii, Karen just waves her “magic wand” and Megatrux Inc. gets the toys wherever they need to go, at her company’s own expense.

Karen Pelle, with her generous heart and kind nature not only assists with the Gift Bank program, but she also lends a helping hand when it comes to Kids Wish Network’s Holiday of Hope events. These bring gifts and joy to kids at various children’s hospitals in hopes of taking their minds off of their medical woes. Not only does Karen ensure that the toys arrive safely at the hospital, but she also dedicates her weekends and her own personal time pitching in by unpacking toys, stuffing gift bags and distributing them to the children, working tirelessly to help children nationwide. In fact, nothing is too difficult for Karen when it comes to providing shipping services for hundreds of thousands of children in need.

With her vast experience in the shipping industry and her ongoing dedication to Kids Wish Network and their mission, Karen Pelle has been an excellent addition to the Kids Wish Network Board of Directors for several years. At their latest Board meeting in August, the members of the Board unanimously voted Karen into the position of President, a position that everyone at Kids Wish Network knows she will fill perfectly.
