Applied Art Productions Premieres The Man in the Maze

Alabama-Oct, 5th, 2010-Applied Art Productions Premieres The Man in the Maze, Saturday October 30th, 2010 during the Mississippi International Film Festival in Jackson, Mississippi.
 
Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Producer, Director, Mitesh Kumar Patel helms the Horror, Suspense, Thriller, which will be featured during the Costume Ball and Horror Block segment following the awards ceremony.

The story revolves around four college friends that set out on an overnight camping trip to research the Native American “Trail of Tears”.  The unsuspecting intruders unwittingly disturb a cursed Native American burial mound that sets in motion a maze of terror, and they become relentlessly pursued by a mysterious and deadly force. Festival director, Edward Saint Pe' praised, “I knew I had to get this film in the film festival. It just fit perfectly, especially for Halloween night”.

“The Man in the Maze is a story that is very close to my heart,” explains Patel, who is also the story creator.   “I personally researched it for many months before pre-production.  It is definitely a one of a kind story. Avid movie goers will appreciate its complex delivery, and I hope others will recognize that it breaks new ground in movie making," he added.

Edward Saint Pe' incorporated The Mississippi International Film and Video Festival in 1998.  Saint Pe' has donated 500 public domain films and television programs he purchased in 1998 to the now newly named "Mississippi Film Institute"  in 2010.  Working through the MS Dept of Education, the films will be used as a core film curriculum tool for film education in the public schools of Mississippi and beyond.
