New Space Unveiled at CollegeAmerica Denver Campus

Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, October 5 College America's Denver campus unveiled their highly anticipated 10,000 square foot campus extension. The additional space will serve as a new nursing lab, providing students who are pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing an improved environment and classroom space for their program. CollegeAmerica added the nursing program in May of this year.

To celebrate, CollegeAmerica hosted a private open house for faculty and students, representatives from area chambers of commerce and local business partners.  During the event, Nathan Larson, Executive Director at the Denver Campus officially opened the space with a ribbon cutting. Mr. Larson is also the regional director for the Fort Collins, Denver and Cheyenne locations. An open house for the public will be held later this month.

Attendees enjoyed food, drinks and the swinging sounds of local jazz group Nemesis. A gallery of work from the school's graphic arts students was also on display.

The Denver campus currently has over 800 students and in addition to the associate’s degree in nursing, offers degrees in graphic arts, business accounting, technology, and healthcare, including a medical specialties associate’s degree.
