Huron Township LDFA Announces New Properties and Benefits

Oct. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- The LDFA board recently announced the purchase of additional properties for immediate occupancy and development. “We currently hold 8 properties, some of which have been cleared and ready for development.” Said R.P. Lilly, LDFA Chairman. “We have several properties that already have roads, sewage and water lines installed.”

The committee of eleven members is made up of representatives of the community, business and school district. They are one of the few LDFA’s in the State that has taken an aggressive approach to marketing their assets. Three years ago the commission created a web site, from there they hired a local firm to create and implement a yearly marketing plan. The plan includes social on-line media and can be viewed on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and a weekly updated blog. They are confident that can attract new developments using a mix of on-line and traditional campaigns. They also have plans for outdoor advertising and monthly media programs.  

“Not only do we believe we have the properties, we have the service and support business need to relocate in our beautiful township.” Said Cathy Laurain, LDFA member. “Companies are amazed how easy we are to work with.” The LDFA parcels range from 2.7-22 acres of buildable land and the location are convenient to Detroit Metro Airport, major expressways and railways. The group is looking for high tech, manufacturing and energy business to call Huron Township home.
