Let There Be No Compulsion in Religion.

Oct. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- There are hundreds of religions flourishing around the world: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Baha’ism, Babuism, Zoroastrianism, Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses, Jainism, Confucianism etc. And each of these religions claim that their scripture is preserved from the day it was revealed until our time.

This unity of reality (God, Brahman, Tao, Spirit, Energy, Light, Vibration) is central to all major world religions, thus their common moral foundation of “Do unto others as to thyself as the other is part of the self”, says Albert Einstein. ”I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings.” This harmony arises from a Wave Structure of Matter in Space. It is his enlightened view of God. Each Holy Writ and at each person can have an understanding of God but any religion and any person hasn't the right to impose the will to another.

"Let there be no compulsion in religion, truth stands out clear from what is error." (al-Qur'an (2):256).

On a theme Islamic religion in a society is a lot of publications and conversations, especially recently. On a miscellaneous represent this theme both in a scientific circle, and in a circle of representatives of culture, business and supporters of traditional sights. In my opinion, actions and  some opinions deserve special attention.

The Qur'an had condemned earlier nations for altering or fabricating the "divine" scripture. And woe unto those who write the scripture with their own hands and then say, "This is from God," that they may in this way obtain a small gain. Woe unto them for what their hands have written and woe unto them for what they gain thereby! (2:79).

Say, that Uthman ordered all copies of the Qur'an to be burnt because of the varying content. This is not true. This quote Dr. Ahmad Shafaat on this issue: 'Uthman, the third leader succeeding the Prophet, ordered people to burn all the texts of the Qur'an which were different from a certain text. But is it conceivable that people will submit to this order even if they thought 'Uthman's text was not the authentic text? Westerners may have the tendency to think that Muslim rulers must have always been tyrant dictators who could force the people to do anything. This is certainly not true of the early leaders of Muslims. But even if we assume that people lived in terror of their leaders, it was logistically impossible for 'Uthman to control every home. People could easily hide their various copies of the Qur'an and secretly pass them on to their descendants and through them on to us. (Dr. Ahmad Shafaat, 2000, "Journal of the Muslim Research Institute", Canada).

Uthman attempted to bring order to chaos. Uthman tried to canonize the Medinan Codex. He sent copies of it to Mecca, Medina, Damascus, Kufa, and Basra. He tried to standardize the consonantal text. The vowels presented another problem for the Muslims.  Arabic script is consonantal. Vowels influence the meaning in the Arabic language.  Using different vowel renders a different meaning! Arab tribes had their own dialects. Arabic 1400 years ago had 7 dialects. When the Noble Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace is upon him, it was revealed in Arabic, and in the Quraishi dialect.  The Quraishi dialect is the most proper Arabic dialect that properly uses the Arabic words without altering their sound.


Unfortunately, we had to deny displaying the Russian collection “The Golden Quran” in its original condition that was presented as a sample. In addition, we apologize for any inconvenience.

The huge mental cruelty is affected not only organizers of this event but also all people, who has come on seminars  “The Gold Art” and has been acquainted with materials and the sample of this jeweler work.

After triumphal showcase in Moscow the part of this collection has really visited in Iran, and Egypt. Also, the other showcase of this collection was scheduled for this fall in United States.  On forthcoming display have been informed not only the Muslim organizations and the centers Islamic cultures, But also as known galleries of a place are reserved for exhibitions in museums and the educational centers. The presidents USA and Russian Federation has been informed on forthcoming event. Certainly considerable material costs took place also.

However, all support that we had wasn’t enough for placing “The Golden Quran” at the exhibition “The Golden Book”. In order to avoid additional complicated issues regarding this matter we have to put the event “Golden Quran” on hold for undefined time.

It is necessary to hope that time and God will judge all.
