Oct. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Bloomington, IN - October 19, 2010 - Sustainable Dashboard Tools, LLC, the new online, Web-based system designed specifically for cleaning professionals to measure, track, and report their sustainability efforts to help improve business performance and lower operating costs, has just added a frequently asked questions (FAQ) page, providing more details about the service.

The new FAQ page is designed to help visitors better understand the tool, how it works, and how it can help the user, according to Cynthia Schultz, COO for the company.
"We realize the tool is something totally new to the professional cleaning industry," says Schultz. "That's why we want to answer as many questions [as possible] about the system before its official launch."

The system will be officially introduced to the industry November 10, 2010, at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America tradeshow in Orlando, FL.

To help users become more sustainable and environmentally responsible, the tool is divided into six primary categories measured by the system.  These are: energy, transportation, waste/recycling, water, internal consumables (office supplies), and cleaning products.

According to Schultz, two of the most common questions about the tool are:
•       Can the tool be used before November 10?
•       Will the tool work for building service contractors?

"The answer to both questions, which are addressed on the FAQ page, is yes," says Schultz. "We have been beta-testing the program for nearly a year, and all modules are now up and running for all segments of our industry, including cleaning contractors."

Once visitors realize how comprehensive the system is, many also question how easy it is to use.  According to Schultz, this question is also addressed on the FAQ page.

"Users can start [by] recording easy items, such as water and energy use, and build from there," she says. "[Even with a small amount of data] they will have a better understanding of their environmental impact and the changes they can make to reduce this impact and improve operating efficiencies."

The FAQ page is located in the Support section of the site at: http://www.green2sustainable.com/support.
