By: Northwest Regional Library As a frequent speaker at schools, conferences and libraries, his presentations have been described as inspiring and mesmerizing. His newest book, The Winter War, is drawing praise from his loyal following of readers. Beginning at 5:30 PM, Durbin will inspire you to write about what you know, research what you don’t, and share your story with the broadest audience possible. At 7 PM he will provide a public presentation featuring his favorite clips from some of his 12 books. This program is ideal for every age group. A book signing will follow. Come prepared to be engaged by this author with a teaching background, who knows how to utilize that understanding in interacting with his audience. Learn what inspired him to become a writer and see archival photos of periods about which he has written. Don’t miss this great chance to meet an author who has spent most of his adult life living nearby in Northeast Minnesota on Lake Vermilion.
