I speak in the Manual about many of the human obstacles to finding true happiness and fulfillment in life, and one of them is our problem with our identity. We have a tendency to over-identify ourselves with our work (I am a Marine, I am a Doctor) or with our possessions (I live in Santa Barbara, I drive a Ferrari) or with our situation (I have cancer, I have 4 children).
