Although the Toshiba’s product was cheaper in price, but it offered less capacity that the Blu-ray. Then many other companies jumped into the battle for their preferred one’s support. Sony got Dell, HP, Mitsubishi and Panasonic‘s back and Toshiba got the support from Intel, Sanyo, RCA, Microsoft and some other ones. Sony won that round due to arrival of Play Station 3 with Blu-ray. 2. Apple Vs Microsoft Apple had started its journey from 1977 with Apple II. That time belong to the Apple only. But then after a outstanding entrance and appreciation of MS-Dos and Windows, Microsoft asserted its dominance in the market. At that time, both were battling for PC market, but then Apple got the higher position with arriving in other platforms too, like phones, Mp3 players and now tablets etc. 3. Microsoft Vs Untied States Microsoft’s alleged monopolistic practices had been a cause of huge fights in 90s. The government had started the investigation in 1990-91 against the company’s practices. Finally the attorney journals of 20 states were on the board in court to resolve the matter and the decision was against the Microsoft in 2000. However, the government decided not to split up the company in long term benefits. 4. Apple Vs Adobe The latest on-going tech battle between Apple and Adobe starts from the decision of the CEO to ban the Adobe Flash in iPhone, and iPad. This issue has been gone through too much debates and discussions. Steve Jobs place the point that flash is clunky, having security threats and loose HTML5 standards.
