SEO Training Dojo celebrates anniversary with new domain, design and SOSG Warrior Appreciation Week

Oct. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- The SEO Training Dojo is celebrating its one year anniversary with a new site design, domain and discounts. The community was founded by David Harry and other likeminded SEOs and internet marketers looking for a place to share knowledge and improve their skills without hierarchy and skills bias. In November 2009 the SEO Training Dojo was voted “Best Paid Subscription SEM Community” in a TopRank Readers Poll.

The domain name change to http://seotrainingdojo.com splits the SEO Training Dojo off of David’s site “The Firehorse Trail” (huomah.com) and includes a new design of the site transforming it with a slick Web 2.0 appearance and improved usability.  Asked for the reasons for the domain change David Harry responded” The community has outgrown ‘the Trail’ and from a branding standpoint it wasn’t exactly a good long term brand choice. It served its purpose and it was time to make the change. “

Terry Van Horne joined David as site administrator, researcher and content developer in February of 2010. Utilizing many years of SERP monitoring David and Terry have developed Industry leading Universal and Blended Search strategies for the SEO Training Dojo Community.  Together they have built out an extensive video library covering all aspects of SEO from content and links to technical topics like Video SEO and sitemaps.

The SEO Training Dojo is a new community turning heads with its Friday chat sessions featuring notable SEO’s like Dan Thies, Debra Mastaler Garrett French and more share SEO techniques and tips.  The Friday chat sessions also leverage the SEO business experience in the SEO Training Dojo by providing newer SEO professionals information on the business side of SEO.  The framework for site audits and plans for building better business policies and procedures are notable achievements in this area of training. For those unable to attend the chat sessions are transcribed and added to the forums so they are accessible to all the community.

The SEO Training Dojo declared this to be “SOSG Warrior Appreciation Week” by extending 30% discounts to members in honor of the anniversary and to show appreciation to the Dojo community for their part in creating an atmosphere for learning that is unique in the SEO community.
