Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Although it's far from going viral just yet - one can always hope... (perhaps you can help it??). Fortunately, every view adds up in getting the word out to make a difference and provide inspiration, motivation and hope to those affected directly or indirectly by Breast Cancer.

The ArtStreet segment was produced by Shirley Ravachi a breast cancer survivor herself as well as a future participant in the project. Four women, all survivors with various circumstances, diagnosis and states of reconstruction come together over two days to participate in the project and be filmed and interviewed for this short PBS segment. Day one was Doris (Releasing the Spell) and Maria (Warrior) while day two was Melissa (Pink Cheshire) and Dawn (Tribute).

All the survivors provide short interviews and are covered in behind the scenes images of the body painting process and the actual photo shoots to create the images. Also interviewed are Michael D. Colanero - the project creator, designer, photographer and digital artist. (http://www.uncommonstock.net) as well as the project Lead Body Painter and creative collaborator Keegan Hitchcock (http://www.bodyartbykeegan.com). Lucianne "Luci" Ungerbuehler (http://www.twofacedart.com) also painted one of the survivors on day two (Tribute) though she's new to the project and wasn't interviewed this time.

The final print versions of these images are about to be officially released as well - with 15% of the profits being donated to various Breast Cancer causes.
