Greeley CEO Program Seeking Community Volunteers Community Corrections Residents

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- According to CEO program director Sara Garvey, “We have an urgent need for one-on-one volunteer tutors to work with our students on the GED five subject areas of math, science, reading, writing and social studies.”

Sara added that CEO welcomes the additional skills and talents of community volunteers, ranging from assisting in computer laboratories, working in educational workshops, and assisting Corrections residents with their search for employment.  Residents need assistance with job preparation including resume construction, cover letter writing, interviewing skills practice, job search evaluation and more.

Intervention Community Correction Services (ICCS), oversees the correction facility located at 1101 High St in Greeley and partners with CEO in order to provide residents with on-site access to educational and employment services.

Sara adds, “I encourage people who are interested in volunteering to visit our organization web site first to learn more about CEO.  Then visit our Greeley Blog page. We have volunteer program informational downloads available on the Blog.”
