Max is a cat who enjoys his nice and cozy life in the city. Everything is just purr-fect! But then Max’s world is turned upside down when his family moves to a farm. Max finds himself sleeping in the barn and has a new job as “mouse catcher.” Now if Max only knew what a mouse was, maybe he could succeed! But everyone is too busy on the farm to teach him. However, there is one warning: Stay out of the forest. After Max is chased into the forest by a dog, he suddenly discovers Snowballs in July. This unusual forest is covered in snow that wasn’t there moments ago.

Max’s foray into the forest ends with him meeting a pixy who teaches Max everything he needs to know about mice. How nice!
