Apology demanded from TV host Joy Behar on behalf of U.S. Servicemen.

Oct. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- In a regular broadcast episode of the daytime television talk show "The View", host Joy Behar went to great lengths to chastise those who have spoken out against Barack Obama and his policies, calling activists "unpatriotic" for challenging the current President.

Behar also went on, in comparing Presidents Obama versus Bush, to make the observation that "no one has died" under Obamas administration, a reference to the virulent protests against Bush and Obama's campaign claim to end the current wars.

"While by now most Americans understand the liberal media feels free to distort the truth, to suggest to millions of viewers that no one has died in our current conflicts is not only shameful, it's hurtful and disrespectful to those families who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country" Lefkowitz said.

The truth is, as of July 31, almost half of all U.S. fatalities in Afghanistan have happened on President Barack Obama’s watch. Since Obama took office in January 2009, 558 U.S. troops have died in Afghanistan, out of 1,127 since the war began nine years ago. In Iraq, 199 have died since the Obama inauguration.

"Joy Behar need to publicly apologize and bring herself up to speed on the sacrifices of our armed forces every day, especially those warriors who have given their life so she can enjoy free speech" Lefkowitz demanded.
